This Sunday, we are kicking off a brand new series entitled The Inheritance.  

This is a series that I do not want you to miss.  As a matter of fact, I want you to commit to being in attendance for at least 4 of the 5 weeks of this series.  It’s that important.

Bring people with you and we will see you on Sunday at either 9:45 or 11:30!

Freedom Church currently meets at Barber Middle School (right next to Acworth Elementary) in Acworth GA.  

• This past Sunday we baptized 34 people including my daughter London AND we saw 7 people accept Christ who immediately came forward to be baptized as well.
• We have seen 110 people become followers of Christ and 108 baptized in the past 6 weeks at Freedom Church. 
• I wanted to write that the above results are the reason that we do what we do – but that wouldn’t be true.
• We do what we do for Jesus.  Everything else is a bonus.   The irony of that is when we seek first God’s Kingdom – He tends to add much to that bonus (blessing) category.
• Don’t ever be afraid to celebrate who God is AND what God is doing.
• One of the worst things you can do when you are experiencing the blessing of God is count it as common.  God is worthy of our celebration!
• Great job to those who volunteer, give, invite, etc.  God is using you in an incredible way and you are making a significant difference!
• Today I will be speaking at the Exponential Conference in Orlando, FL.   It’s an honor to have been asked to do so and I intend to learn as much as possible while I am there.
• In addition, we will be having our Board Meeting for the Launch Network.  We are proud to partner with this organization!  If you desire to start a church – don’t do so without checking out Launch.
• My daughter Lexi turns 10 years old on the 28th.  I can’t even believe I just typed that.  10 years old.
• This weekend I will be kicking off a brand new series entitled The Inheritance.  It’s perfect for the season we are in as a church and I can’t wait to get this started on Sunday!

God is doing great things all over the world.   We do not take for granted the fact that we get to see God working every week at Freedom Church (110 people have accepted Christ & 108 have been baptized in the past 6 weeks), every week through our partnership with the Launch Network as we help start churches all over the Unites States, and through our partnerships in El Salvador.

Our first team just returned from a trip to that great country and we are so excited about the foundation that God is building through our partnerships with local churches, feeding centers, and schools.  They did a fantastic job and I am excited about what God is doing IN them as well as through them!  Click here for more pictures.

AfterLife has proven to be an incredible series in the life of Freedom Church!  The first two weeks have been incredible and I think we have saved the best for last.

Can you REALLY know that you are a follower of Christ or is it more of an “I’ll try” or “I hope so” kind of thing?  Do I have to live with an overwhelming sense of doubt or can I be absolutely sure?  These are just a few of the questions we are going to answer on Sunday!   Bring some friends with you and do not miss out!

I will be traveling to Orlando next week to lead a Breakout Session at the Exponential Conference.   The session I have been assigned is How do you Protect Your Marriage and Family While Planting a Church as part of the “It’s Personal” Track, hosted by the Launch Network.  (If you are an aspiring church planter or part of a church that desires to help start more churches – I strongly recommend that you connect with this network)!

I want to challenge you to make the 1PM – 2PM time slot on Wednesday a priority.  It is going to be a great asset for you as you navigate the journey of leading a church, business, and/or family.  It’s easy to put your family on the back-burner.  Don’t make that mistake this week at Exponential.

As a bonus:  I am going to do some great give-aways for the first 5  Church Planters who walk through the door for this session.  Some will receive a free book.  Others will receive gift certificates to one of our restaurant favorites.   Also, everyone in that session will have the opportunity to win an overnight trip for you and your spouse.  I want you to last for the long-haul.  I want you and your family to thrive!  I believe this session will go a long way in helping you do just that!
