I can’t think of anything better than being on the journey that we are on right now!

I love seeing the activity of God – and we have seen it a ton – over the past several months.  More specifically, we have seen it a ton in the past several days!  I can’t wait to announce some of that stuff on Sunday! 

 Here’s the deal though.  I think a ton of people miss out on the activity of God because they wait until every piece of the puzzle is together before they take their first step.  If that’s the case, you are going to be waiting for a long time, because God doesn’t tend to work that way.  Most of the time, we have to step into the water – before the river will part! 

A huge announcement for Sunday!

God continues to show His favor on us as a church as we move forward in this journey! I am excited about the possiblities that exist in Acworth and beyond!

God is preparing to do some incredible things!

Everything went great this morning! We have a ton of little things we want to tweak a little, but overall, things went perfectly!

We had a ton of people there at 6AM to help with set-up, etc., and it went very smoothly. They were pumped to be there and we were able to have a lot of fun!

I am pumped about the next few weeks as we prepare for launch Sunday and beyond.

Well tomorrow morning the journey continues…

We are giving our launch team a sneak peak at set-up, tear-down, etc. at our actual location. We have been doing a decent amount of set-up for all of our launch team meetings, and we have helped a few great churches with theirs; however, it will be cool to set up our own stuff.

I have never been more excited about 6AM on Sunday Mornings! An honor and a privilege to impact this city!

From day one, we have emphasized the fact that we want to develop a Culture of Sacrifice at FC. It sounds good to say, but it is much more difficult to develop than it is to put on paper! We have attempted to model this concept – and I think we are now learning to experience the joy that comes through sacrificial giving of our time, giftedness, and finances.

I am honored to be the Lead Pastor of the yet-to-launch Freedom Church – a group of people who are already coming to grips with and are passionate about…Sacrifice!
