We are closing out our run at Barber Middle in style this Sunday at both 945 and 11:15.
We are doing something we have never done before and I can’t wait to see how it turns out.
Don’t miss this week as we get ready to move back to North Cobb High School on August 8th…
One final time – here is the map to Barber for those of you who don’t know how to get there

- Great day on Sunday at Freedom.
- Spoke on Giving / Trust and had 35 families sign up to take the 90 Day Giving Challenge.
- I am excited for them and for all that God is going to do in their lives as a result.
- I’ve never been more excited about what God is doing at our church and in my life as I am right now. That is a great thing.
- We are going to the next level when it comes to investing in Church Planting all across the world. More to come on that very soon.
- I have learned some things recently that have transformed my prayer life. I am asking God for the “impossible” and moving forward with expectancy knowing that God has an incredible plan.
- Sunday is our last day at Barber before moving back to North Cobb High School on August 8th! Can’t wait!
- Don’t miss this Sunday. Mark it down right now – it will be an incredible day!

Boundaries provide freedom. It sounds counterintuitive but I’ve found it to be true.
I’ve listed a few things that I have placed in my life. This list isn’t exhaustive (I am only listing two things) and it certainly isn’t mandatory. This works for me, but it might be more restrictive than helpful for you.
TV :: No movie channels for us. They try to give them to us free quite often, but we turn them down and ask for extra sports programming instead. As a matter of fact, we have blocked a few of the normal channels as well. The last thing I need are naked people on my television screen.
Computer :: I have both SafeEyes and X3Watch installed on all of my computers. Both are great and work together perfectly. SafeEyes does the job, but I had X3Watch first and have continued to let it run in the background.
Proverbs 4:23 – Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.

Some friends and I were discussing schools that we have attended over the years. I knew our family moved quite a bit when I was younger, but the list is far more substantial than I realized.
Kindergarten :: Home School
1st :: Eastland Christian School in Orlando, FL
2nd :: University Christian School in Jacksonville, FL
3rd :: 1st Half – Home School
3rd – 5th :: Dade Christian School in Miami, FL
6th :: Woodstock Elementary in Woodstock, GA
7th-8th :: Dean Rusk Middle School in Holly Springs, GA
9th :: Sequoyah High School in Holly Springs, GA
10th – 12th :: Cherokee High School in Canton, GA
Throw three different Universities into the mix as well and you have quite a conglomeration of educational opportunity. I know that this didn’t help you at all – but it probably does give some insight into my personality.
