• The snow melted and Freedom Church was alive and well this past Sunday.
• Devin and I were still able to go out on Friday night to celebrate Valentines Day.  After almost 10 years of marriage, I enjoy hanging out with her more now than at any other point in my life!
• I wish that every married couple could say that!  If not, there is still hope!  Don’t give up – but pretend their isn’t a problem either!  Email us at info@freedomchurch.tv if you would like some help!
• Two more weeks at Barber Middle School and then we make the move to North Cobb High School!  March 7th is going to be a great day!
• In addition to the new facility – Bryce (My only boy) will be turning 1 that day!
• It is absolutely impossible to out-give God.  I have learned that lesson again and again through the years.  This past lesson learning experience blew my mind!
• Freedom 2.0 continues this Sunday!  Don’t forget that I need 75 of you to switch from 11:15 to 9:45 beginning this week!
• Chances are that the reason you had a seat at 11:15 was because someone gave it up and moved to 9:45.  Now it’s your turn to return the favor for someone else – so that people far from God can experience life in Christ!
• Yes it’s that important!  1st timers typically come to the later hour.  Let’s make room for them!
• I am honored to be the Pastor at Freedom Church!  Grateful for a passionate group of people!

Exodus 31 contains an important insight ::

Then the LORD said to Moses, ² “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, ³ and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts- ⁴ to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, ⁵ to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of craftsmanship. ⁶ Moreover, I have appointed Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, to help him. Also I have given skill to all the craftsmen to make everything I have commanded you:

God has given every single reader of this blog (yes you) gifts and abilities that are to be used so that people far from God can experience life in Christ.  Don’t downplay your role simply because what you do takes place behind the scenes.  God has chosen you as the perfect candidate to fulfill that which He has called you to do.

Find your sweet spot because  we all have a significant role to play!

In Other Words…

Nothing in your past guarantees that you will continue growing toward and reaching your potential in the future.  Growth is not automatic.  It’s not something that simply comes with age and experience.  It takes a ton of work.

Week 3 of Freedom 2.0 is going to be strong!  Might be my favorite week of the series.

3 more weeks at Barber Middle School and then the big move to North Cobb High School will be official.
Very excited about the possibilities!

A few months ago we asked 75 of you to move from 11:15 to 9:45.  You listened and it freed up seats during the optimal time for guests.  The good news is that not only did we free up seats but we filled them back up and then some.  As a result, I need another 50 – 75 of you to make the switch from 11:15 to 9:45.    Thanks in advance!

UPDATE :: Roads are Clear – Regular Schedule tomorrow morning!  Don’t be late (9:45 and 11:15)!

Here are some pics from our new series Freedom 2.0.  We kicked off the series on our 2 Year Anniversary.

One cool element on that day were the 200 signs that lined the entrance to the school.  They listed the first name of people who have received Christ since our inception.  Loved that idea and it was a powerful touch for people driving in that day. You can see more pics here.

So proud of what God has done and what He is doing.  We serve a GREAT God.
