Almost MidWeek Review

  • Fantastic Day this past Sunday!  Proud of the people at Freedom Church!
  • The fact that 2009 is almost complete is absolutely crazy.  Time has flown by since moving to Georgia in 2007.
  • I hope that there is far less rain in 2010 than in 2009.  Wow.
  • Year End Staff Evaluations are being done across the board this week.  Our team thrives on extremely honest feedback.
  • I use to do every single review. This time I only did one.
  • Christmas Eve is just two days away!  You MUST do whatever you can to invite and bring people with you at either 3:30 or 5PM to one of our Christmas Eve Worship Experiences.  It’s going to be an incredible night that you won’t forget!
  • Piece of advice:  Get there early as both hours will be slammed.
  • The Gift Offering will be received that night and I am pumped to see what God is going to do!  Praying for an avalanche of generosity so that we are fully prepared to take advantage of the game-changing opportunities that God sends in 2010!
  • Our staff is praying through a list of every single person who has ever attended Freedom Church by name as part of a new prayer initiative we unleashed on Monday.  I believe in the power of prayer more now than at any other time in my life.
  • I hope that you have an incredible Christmas and I will see you at either 3:30 or 5PM on Christmas Eve!!!

God Created You for More!

Mediocrity isn’t for you.  God created you for more!

God created us for more than the dollar amount in our 401K, the square footage of our home, or the type of car that we drive.  Jesus’ purpose for coming to earth was so that people far from God could experience life in Christ.  The purpose of His life should become the purpose of our life.

We make a habit of praying and doing everything we can to make it hard to go to hell from this city.  There are thousands of people around us who need to hear the life changing message of Jesus and we will stop at nothing to make sure that they have that opportunity! (That being said – Do WHATEVER you have to do in order to bring people with you at either 3:30 or 5PM on Christmas Eve! – shameless plug)

Back to the post: Now we are only 3 days away from being able to put our money where our mouth is!

Join with these who have already “drank the Kool-Aid” and allow God to greatly increase your faith capacity this Christmas Season! Here is a little feedback…

What a great message and challenge!  Our family will be praying for this upcoming event and for 2010 to be the best year Freedom Church has ever experienced.  I know this sounds crazy, but it’s exciting to be a part of a church that is asking God to stretch us in our giving.  As tough as it is sometimes, trusting God with money is a true test in our faith.  In our business life as well as our personal financial life, we have seen the greatest blessings during these times.  We are honored to be part of this!

I am excited to be part of what God is doing!  Still amazes me every DAY that God would choose to use us!  I will be praying for our personal part in this years We Believe Offering, and for those around us as well!

That being said, I challenge you to trust in the faithfulness of God.  I believe in you and I pray that God would stretch both you and I in an incredible way this Christmas Season! Don’t settle for average.  God created you for more than that.
