I love hearing stories of life-change from the people at Freedom Church…
A few weeks ago we had a 1st time guest that instantly felt that Freedom Church was the place for her. Right after the Worship Experience on Sunday she began telling some of her friends about what God had done. As a result, this girl who had come only one time before made the decision to bring a few friends with her the following week.
That next week, both the girl (now a 2nd time guest) and one of her friends (1st time guest) accepted Christ. Now, the two of them have vowed to do whatever it takes to get as many people as possible out of bed, off the lake, etc., and to Freedom each and every Sunday.
Every single week stories like this pour into our office. I love hearing stories of life-change. I love hearing stories of people investing in and inviting their friends. It’s not difficult to make an eternal difference in the lives of those around you. I am so grateful to be part of a church that understands that!
Great job Freedom Church! Keep investing. Keep inviting. Keep seeing God do what only He can do!

I never carry cash. I probably should – but it’s a very rare occurrence if I have anything except my debit card in my pocket.
For better or worse – many of you probably operate the same way.
As a result, we will do our best to accommodate. If you are interested in giving, but not interested in carrying your checkbook around then take advantage of the option below. I did and even though it didn’t change my life forever – it did make for one less thing I had to remember on my way out the door to church…

A couple months ago I was standing in line at Starbucks in Acworth while talking with a friend of mine. The lady in front of us overheard our conversation and started asking questions about Freedom Church.
Long story short, this lady and her college-age daughter hadn’t been to church in years and wanted to check us out based on the conversation she heard my friend and I having. Seemed random at the time and after a few weeks I forgot all about it.
Recently, she showed up and stopped me in the hall in-between the 9:30 and 11:00. She said how much she loved her time at Freedom (she’d been coming for several weeks) and that her daughter had promised to come with her the following Sunday. She followed through with that promise and this past Sunday the daughter gave her life to Christ!
What I thought to be a random encounter was actually a divine appointment. Who knows when you are going to have a conversation that can lead to life-change in the life of an individual? That great family showing up at Freedom wasn’t the result of a convincing dissertation – it was simply the result of a simple invitation.
Keep inviting your friends and family! With over 250 first time guests in August – your invitations aren’t being ignored!
I love this stuff!
