• Unending rain has made this quite the interesting week.
• Sunday was a great day as we kicked off Block Party in spite of torrential downpour the entire day.
• All our partnership teams did an incredible job keeping everyone dry except for themselves   Great job!
• I was told we had people who missed church Sunday because their roof was leaking actually show up just in time for tear down so that they could help.  Love it.
• Monday was intense.  I’ve never seen so much rain in my entire life.
• Although we have had several road closings, Acworth was spared the worst of the damage.
• The kids have been out of school the past two days and are both ready to get back.
• I am praying through some big opportunities in the days ahead regarding the next several months at Freedom Church.
• I am proud of the people who have already signed up to host “Block Parties” in their neighborhoods over the next several weeks.  You will have another opportunity to sign up on Sunday.
• Some of our guys have been in the studio the past few days working on Let it Resound.  Can’t wait for this to be complete and get it into your hands!
• We will begin a brand new series a week from Sunday that is going to be powerful!  More to come on that this weekend.

We kicked off a new series yesterday called Block Party.  For the content you can check out the Podcast but let me leave you with the concept.

I want as many Freedom Church families as possible to host a party at their home for the people in their neighborhood.  Not the entire neighborhood: 8-10 families that live on either side of you and/or across the street.  Nothing fancy just hot dogs, chips, drinks, etc.

The goal?  Meet and get to know the people that live around you and have a good time.  That’s it.   I want to help expand your circle of influence.  God placed you right where you are to invest in those around you.  Block Party will help you do that.

This week at Freedom Church we are kicking off 2 week mini-series called Block Party.  This one is going to be unlike any we have ever done before and I can’t wait to see what happens as a result.  Going to be a powerful couple of weeks.  Actually, it could be the most far reaching series we have done to date.

• Powerful Day on Sunday.
• Great to see so many people choose to be blessed by taking God at His Word and jumping on board with the 90 Day Challenge!
• It’s going to be a life-changing couple of months!
• Thrive on Monday night was a lot of fun.  Love hanging out with many of the partners who make up the heart and soul of Freedom Church!  Announced some exciting things and people were pumped to hear what we are believing God for over the next several weeks.
• We hired a full-time Children’s Pastor this past Sunday!  More to come on that a little later.  Can’t wait for this family to get here!
• In the process of hiring we interviewed several incredible people.  One in particular that I believe we will hire in the very near future and who will take Partnership, Systems, and Leadership Development to another level!  Great lady!
• Devin and I started the 100 Pushup Challenge.  Week 1 was pretty easy.  Week 3 and beyond?  Not so much.
• Our Worship Team will be in the studio next week!  Can’t wait to get this CD into your hands!
• We kick off a brand new series this Sunday that is going to be our most far-reaching to date!  You do NOT want to miss Sunday!  Invite everyone you know and prepare now for God to do incredible things!
