- Very good Sunday for a Labor Day Weekend!
- Had a blast hanging out with several people over the course of the weekend.
- We are closing out Old Time Religion this week and I can’t wait to bring the message! It’s going to be a life-changing Sunday for a lot of people.
- I liked giving things away on the blog last week. Might have to do that more often.
- We combined Old Time Religion with a little new-school technology this week with Dave Ramsey. Don’t put off applying the principles he taught on Sunday! Do it now!
- Melanie Oudin is kicking butt in the tennis world right now. She doesn’t live far from here so I think she and her family need to start coming to Freedom.
- Miami brought the heat on Monday night against FSU. For week 1 of College Football Season – “It’s GREAT to be a Miami Hurricane.”
- I referenced this earlier but I am praying for breakthrough in the lives of so many people. Sunday is going to be a pivotal day.
- It was really hot on stage one week and I mentioned that I hate using paper towels to wipe off sweat because I am paranoid that some of the paper towel will get stuck to my face. This week someone had put a ton of handkerchiefs in the offering with a note saying that they didn’t want anything so traumatic to happen. They are even embroidered with my initials
- We are very very close to hiring a Full Time Children’s Pastor. This is going to be HUGE and I can’t wait to tell you more about the implications of this hire and what this person will bring to the table! WOW!
