What a great summer we have had at Freedom Church!

Rebel was a GREAT series and God did some great things in the lives of people.    The next two weeks will be more of the same – only completely different

Beginning Sunday, we will kick off an incredible two-week event.  God has revolutionized my life as a result of the things we are talking about and I know He will do the same for you!

See you Sunday at either 9:30 or 11!

• Great day on Sunday as we closed out the Rebel series!
• Early Monday morning we loaded a Mini-Bus and headed to Memphis with our staff.
• We have never been more excited about what God is doing than we are right now!  The next 6 months are going to be incredible!
• We were in meetings 90% of the time we were there, but it was good to catch up with a few people we haven’t seen in quite some time.
• Read Luke 2:52 and allow it to become a prayer in your life.
• I love our team of people and I am honored to be doing this with them.
• There has never been as much opportunity to impact the lives of people as there is right now.  The message of Jesus Christ can go further and faster than at any other time in history.
• If the church isn’t powerful than we are misrepresenting Jesus to the people around us.
• The next 2 Sunday’s are going to be life-changing for a lot of people at Freedom Church.  Get there early!

Yesterday we loaded up the staff team from Freedom and headed to west TN for a couple of days.

It’s a strategic location from the standpoint that the dream to begin a church in Acworth started from a house in Millington, TN.   We are going to be loaded down for the majority of the time we are here, but we’ve worked in a little R&R as well.  Very little

I absolutely love our team, the people at Freedom Church, and those whom we are striving to reach.  The next 6 months are going to be insane.  Scary actually.  Can’t wait to get back and fill you in…

Pastor Steven Furtick has been a great friend and mentor since we began Freedom Church 18 months ago.  I’ve asked him countless questions and he and Elevation Church have been an invaluable resource to me personally, our team, and to Freedom.  I loved something he wrote the other day and here it is…

Church growth isn’t complicated.  Continue having those simple conversations – today!
