We close out the We Bare All series this Sunday and I believe we have saved the best for last.

This week is called “Sometimes, I want to look at naked woman” – and it’s a Sunday that you don’t want to miss.  If you want a good seat – get there early.  I promise you that this will be a Sunday that you will never forget!

When I jumped into the world of church planting, I spent a TON of time getting to know everyone that I possibly could.  I sent emails, made phone calls, and traveled all over the country getting to know guys who were successfully doing what I was called to do.

I had a blast and have developed many friendships with extremely high capacity leaders along the way.

Then, things got busy.  The church became an every week occurrence, more people started showing up, and I stopped being as intentional about meeting new people in the church planting world.  I was satisfied with my circle.  As a result, I stopped doing that which propelled me in the beginning.

Not anymore.  I have a GREAT network of guys that I have the privilege of learning from – but there are so many people (and so much wisdom to be gained) that I still want the opportunity to meet.   Round 2 begins now.

To whom (first time I’ve ever used that word in a sentence) should I make the first call or send the first email?  Doesn’t have to be someone speaking on the conference circuit… Who are the up and comers that no one is talking about…yet.   Give me your thoughts!

• We ran a half-marathon on Saturday.  The course had 3 hills that kicked my butt – especially at the end.
• This was the first actual race I have ever run that was more than a 5K (3.1 miles).
• The “clientele” of a Half Marathon is far different from that of a 5K.  I am pretty sure that 95% of the runners are in far better shape than I am.
• There were several booths set up by various restaurants giving away free food, etc.  Chic-Fil-A had a booth but they were giving away apples.  What in the world were they thinking?
• This is going to be the last week of We Bare All – and we have saved the most intense for last.  It’s going to be a GREAT day at Freedom Church on Sunday!
• Yes it’s true that the title of this week’s message is “Sometimes, I want to look at naked women.”
• The 80′s Party for all the partners at Freedom is Sunday night at 7PM!  The pictures are going to be priceless! We rented out Sparkles Roller Rink and it will never be the same.
• We had a great night at Freedom Generation this past Sunday.  Tyler is doing a great job and the student ministry continues to grow every month.
• Speaking of students… Tyler told me a secret about this summer that I am pumped about!
• Things are going to get very interesting around the office beginning in about 5 days. 
• I am more pumped about our next series “Let’s Get it On” than any we have previously done.
• We might be the first church to actually do the Egg Drop in partnership with our city.  We (city employees and Freedom Church) can’t wait for this CRAZY day!
• We are going live with a website today that some people are going to love.  Key word = some. 

This is what it looks like after you have been running for 13 miles in the rain.

After a really good first 10 miles – the last three were ROUGH! When it was all said and done, I got a medal for finishing, an extremely swollen knee (I think I am older than I originally thought), and the satisfaction of completing an official half-marathon.

Every single one of you play a huge role in seeing people far from God experience life in Christ!  Since Freedom Church is all about partnership – we refuse to take that for granted!

On February 22nd, we are throwing an 80′s party just for you!  We have rented out Sparkles Roller Rink in Kennesaw and we are going to have a blast!  Find the best 80′s attire you can find (some of you can just go to your closet) and we will see you there!  The fun runs from 7PM til 9:00PM w/ childcare on site. Can’t wait to see everyone there!
